Cancellation Policy

At CareerXL Ltd, our goal is to deliver a professional, personalised experience that helps you showcase your strengths with confidence. 1. Booking & Consultation Each package includes a 45min Career Discovery Session (1-hour for Career transition packages) where we discuss your background, goals, and target roles. This session is essential before any writing begins, as it ensures your CV and Cover Letter accurately reflect your career direction. You’ll receive a link to schedule your session after purchase. Please complete the pre-meeting questionnaire at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. 2. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled Career Discovery Session: → Full refund or reschedule available. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the Career Discovery session, or no-shows: → 25% of the package fee may be retained. Once the Career Discovery Session has taken place, work on your CV and Cover Letter begins immediately, and refunds are no longer available. If you wish to postpone your writing deliverables (e.g., due to a job change), please contact us, we can hold your project for up to 30 days. 3. Writing & Delivery Draft CV and Cover Letter are typically delivered within 5–10 business days, depending on your package level. All writing is custom-created based on information you provide during the discovery session and intake form. You are responsible for ensuring all information shared (including employment history, education, and dates) is accurate. 4. Revisions Each package includes one complimentary round of revisions within 7 days of receiving your first draft. Revisions are intended for edits or clarifications, not full rewrites based on new roles or added information. Additional revisions can be requested for a small fee (£30 per round). 5. Confidentiality All information you share, including personal, academic, or employment data is treated as confidential and used only to complete your CV and Cover Letter. Your documents are not shared or reproduced for any third party. 6. Agreement By booking a CV & Cover Letter Package with CareerXL Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy, including cancellation, refund, and revision terms.
