2. Services Provided

CareerXL Ltd offers the following services:

• Free Consultation: A one-time, 30-minute call to discuss career goals and potential services.

• Paid Services:

• CV Writing Packages (Early Career, Professional, and Career Transition).

• Career Coaching & Advice (Free 30-minute consultation, 45-minute focused session, Two-session bundles).

• CareerXL+ Membership: A monthly subscription service offering exclusive resources, templates, networking, and monthly check-ins with the Founder.

 

3. Disclaimer

• Limitation Of Liability:

• Our liability is limited for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when any contract was made, for losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, and for business losses and/or losses to non-consumers. We are not liable for the loss of data, loss of profits, cost of cover, or other special, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages however caused and regardless of theory of liability. This limitation will apply even if we have been advised of, or are aware of, the possibility of such damages.

• Files provided in Microsoft Word for Windows format as well as cross-platform PDF. We cannot be held liable for incompatibility issues with a user's individual computer set-up

• Exclusion of Liability:

• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents, employees, or subcontractors.

 

4. Indemnity

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CareerXL Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers, immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, reasonable losses, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of:

• Any breach of these Terms & Conditions by you.

• Any liabilities arising from your use of our services and our website.

 

5. Severance

Each provision of these Terms & Conditions shall be construed separately and independently of each other. The validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part. If a particular term(s) is/are declared legally void, the contract will continue to bind the parties as long as it is capable of continuing in existence without the void term(s).

6. Payment Terms

​

All payments for paid services and membership are processed through Stripe and are due in full at the time of booking or subscription.

Payments for membership plans are recurring on a monthly basis, and by subscribing, you agree to automatic renewals unless you cancel.

 

7. Cancellation & Refunds

​

• Consultation: If you wish to cancel your free consultation, please notify us 24 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations will not be refunded.

• Paid Services: Once services are delivered (e.g., after the initial consultation or the start of CV work), no refunds will be provided, but revisions may be offered within 7 days.

• CareerXL+ Membership: You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are provided after access has been granted.

 

8. Data Protection

• We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

• You agree to provide accurate information and consent to the processing of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

 

9. Intellectual Property

• All content provided through CareerXL Ltd, including CV templates, cover letter templates, and career advice content, is the intellectual property of CareerXL Ltd.

• You may use the materials provided only for personal purposes and not for resale, distribution, or commercial use.

• You acknowledge and agree that the material contained within our web sites is made available for your personal non-commercial use only. You may only access, view, copy and/or print pages from our web sites for the sole purpose of you evaluating whether to and/or placing an order with us. Any other use of the material within our web sites is strictly prohibited.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law. Any disputes arising from your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
